About The Position

Help New Drivers Build Confidence Behind the Wheel. Are you a patient, dependable driver who enjoys helping others succeed? Do you stay calm under pressure and take pride in making a difference? We're looking for a Driving Instructor to join our growing team. Every day, you'll help new drivers gain the skills and confidence they need to drive safely for life. Whether you're working with teenagers earning their first license or adults learning later in life, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. No two days are the same, and every lesson helps someone achieve an important milestone.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Minimum 5 years of driving experience
Basic computer proficiency
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Florida traffic laws and safe driving practices
Ability to commute to the area before beginning employment
Computer literacy: 5 years (Required)
Safe work practices: 1 year (Required)

Nice To Haves

Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or training others
Experience working with students
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Teach safe, confident driving techniques during behind-the-wheel lessons
Coach students of different ages, personalities, and experience levels
Explain traffic laws, defensive driving, and accident prevention
Guide students through parking, lane changes, turns, highway driving, and other real-world driving situations
Customize lessons based on each student's learning style and progress
Provide encouragement, constructive feedback, and clear instruction
Create a positive, calm, and professional learning environment
Help students prepare for success on their driving test—and beyond
