This role involves educating and instructing students in the safe operation of motor vehicles within a classroom setting, specifically those pursuing their driving license. The instructor must be aware of various student learning styles and adapt instruction accordingly, providing guidance in a patient, calm, and personable manner to reduce anxiety and enhance the learning experience. Additionally, the instructor will assist the driving school with administrative tasks, adhere to all department policies and procedures, including accurate recording of student hours, and may provide training and guidance to new driving instructors/trainees, offering feedback to both the supervisor and the employee.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Driving instructor/trainee experience Required
• Valid driver’s license Required
• State driving instruction certification Required
• Ability to meet Club insurance requirements, motor vehicle and other pre-employment guidelines Required

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience is Preferred

Responsibilities

• Educates and instructs students pursuing their driving license in the safe operation of motor vehicles in the classroom.
• Maintains an awareness of various students learning styles and adjusts instruction appropriately.
• Provides instruction in a patient, calm, and personable manner to reduce student anxiety, cater to various learning styles, and enhance the learning experience.
• Assists in driving school with various administrative tasks.
• Adheres to all department policies and procedures, including accurate recording of student hours.
• May provide training and guidance to new driving instructors/trainees in the facilitation of classroom materials.
• Provides training feedback to both the supervisor and the employee.
