About The Position
Closing drivers are scheduled to arrive at the store between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. They work until one to two hours after closing: the store closes at 1:00 AM Sunday through Thursday and 3:00 AM Friday and Saturday, depending on business. Drivers should generally leave by 3:00 AM Sunday through Thursday and by 5:00 AM Friday and Saturday, though extenuating circumstances may require staying later. While in the store, drivers are expected to answer the phone, help carry out customers’ orders, put up labels, tend the oven, wash dishes, and help clean the store. Drivers also make deliveries as quickly as possible while driving safely. Base pay is $7.50 per hour, plus tips and commissions; total hourly earnings tend to average $15.00 to $20.00 or more depending on business.
