About The Position

Join the fun at ALTO Clermont FL, where every day brings new adventures! We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Driver to safely transport our residents to doctor appointments, shopping trips, and exciting local outings. The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation services for the residents of the Community.

Requirements

• Valid Class E License
• Clean driving record
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must possess good judgment, time management, decision making, and safety awareness skills.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required) for the state where the vehicle is operated.
• Must have an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record; the record must be checked annually.
• The Community is a drug free workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to outings, health care appointments, banking and other activities as determined by the Lifestyle Director/Concierge and the Executive Director.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Assist in loading packages, boxes, sacks, etc.
• Coordinate Community transportation services ensuring the maintenance of the vehicles and adherence to the transportation budget and expenditures as directed.
