About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Driver at its Fort Wayne West location. The role pays $13 per hour and is based at 1015 Lawrence Dr., Fort Wayne, IN 46804. The Driver transports fleet cars and vans between rental locations and may also transport customers, employees, or vendors. Drivers are expected to deliver vehicles and passengers safely, on time, and with courteous, professional customer service, while following road rules and written directions. The listed schedule is Sunday off; Monday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday off; Friday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Enterprise Mobility provides mobility services through brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. Its services include car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license, with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past two years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, using written directions as needed.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed while following all rules of the road.
Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destinations.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
Clean vehicles when asked.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
