About The Position

The Driver plays a key role in supporting daily operations by safely transporting goods, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely and efficient pickups and deliveries. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of driving, delivery, or related experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Familiarity with the greater Philadelphia area
Ability to safely operate trucks and delivery vehicles
Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and timeliness
Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and delivery schedules
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to read and interpret instructions, schedules, and delivery documents
Ability to complete reports and communicate effectively with team members and customers

Responsibilities

Safely operate company-owned or leased vehicles for pickups, deliveries, and transfers
Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage
Load and unload freight, ensuring items are properly secured and handled
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; report maintenance or safety issues promptly
Comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
Complete delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate delays, incidents, or service issues to management as needed
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles and equipment
Support warehouse and station operations as needed
