About The Position

The Lot Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely movement of vehicles throughout the lot and between designated locations to support auction operations. This role is an individual contributor who plays a critical part in maintaining workflow, vehicle organization, and overall operational efficiency while adhering to strict safety standards.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles (automatic and manual preferred, if applicable).
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good situational awareness and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Reliable attendance and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout the entire shift.
  • Frequent entry and exit of vehicles and continuous movement across the lot.
  • Must be able to safely operate vehicles for prolonged periods.
  • Clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and transport vehicles between lot locations, sale lanes, and designated areas in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain consistent vehicle flow to support auction readiness, ensuring vehicles are positioned accurately and on schedule.
  • Follow all established safety procedures and immediately report hazards, damage, or unsafe conditions.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections of vehicles before and after movement, noting and reporting any existing or new damage.
  • Navigate lot environments with high attention to surroundings, including pedestrians, other drivers, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, lane leaders, and team members to coordinate vehicle movement and priorities.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and workload demands in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Support overall lot organization and cleanliness as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Complete assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.
