Driver- PACE
About The Position
Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Driver. This is a full-time position with day shifts, operating from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The home base for this role is Norfolk, VA, and driving will be conducted in a company vehicle. The company provides market-competitive compensation packages, including base pay, incentives, and benefits. The Driver will operate and drive automobiles to transport vehicles and patients/visitors within the organization's parking lots and surrounding areas on the property, ensuring adherence to safety rules.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must provide and have a current driving record of minus the major and minor traffic violations defined by Sentara, at time of hire, annually or as requested per management.
- CRD93 form required to provide authorization for request of driving record, upon hire and annually.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Active Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly (required)
- Minimum 6 months experience with professional driving (required)
