Driver Parts and Service
About The Position
Drives company vehicles in a safe, responsible manner in accordance with applicable state motor vehicle laws. Delivers parts orders accurately to wholesale & internal customers maintaining a high level of customer service and business relations. Picks up parts for our Service Departments. Inspects shipments for damage and correct quantity at loading and unloading, noting any problems or discrepancies. Responsible for loading the vehicle to maximize efficiency and eliminate damage to goods in-transit. Responsible for timely maintenance and cleanliness of delivery vehicle to minimize down time and keep vehicle in a safe, operable condition at all times. Responsible for checking and maintaining fuel levels of delivery vehicles so as to keep the deliveries running smoothly without interruptions. Returns parts to outside vendors as directed. Performs general cleaning/maintenance duties in order to maintain appearance and safety of department. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently as well as take direction and work as part of a team.
- Dependable and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail.
- A safety-minded attitude.
