About The Position
Native Maine is seeking a part-time Driver to work weekends. Drivers will start and end each day in Westbrook, Maine. Native Maine Drivers operate with safety as a priority and have a passion for serving our customers, who include restaurants, hotels, schools & colleges, hospitals, and grocery stores. Our drivers are self-motivated, professional, and accurate. We provide clean, modern, well-maintained trucks that are GPS monitored for safety and real-time customer communication. Requirements
- Valid class C Driver's License
- Able to pass a Department of Transportation Road Test
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Physically able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move/push/pull/lift items weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Available to work overtime
- Able to follow oral and written directions
- Qualified applicants must have reliable transportation
- Fluency in written and spoken English required
- Employees must be able to work independently and demonstrate a commitment to company’s guiding principles of Safety, Service and Impact
Responsibilities
- Operate up to a 26 ft. delivery truck
- Serve customers and present in a professional manner
- Unload trucks with the use of a non-powered hand truck
- Work weekends
- Keep work area/vehicle clean and organized
