About The Position

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation services for the residents of the Community. This is a part-time position with a shift from 8am-6pm, and weekends may be required. The pay rate is $16-$18/hr depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must possess good judgment, time management, decision making, and safety awareness skills.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required) for the state where the vehicle is operated.
• Must have an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record; the record must be checked annually.
• The Community is a drug free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to outings, health care appointments, banking and other activities as determined by the Lifestyle Director/Concierge and the Executive Director.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Assist in loading packages, boxes, sacks, etc.
• Coordinate Community transportation services ensuring the maintenance of the vehicles and adherence to the transportation budget and expenditures as directed.
