About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a dependable and flexible On-Call (As-Needed) Driver to join our team at Pathways Omaha. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys serving others, values meaningful connections, and is looking for a flexible schedule without full-time commitment. As an on-call team member, you’ll step in to provide transportation support as needed—helping ensure our participants receive safe, reliable service when it matters most. The typical hours fall between Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with no evenings or weekends required.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a DOT physical.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Valid Driver’s license is required.
In Iowa, Chauffeur's license will be required prior to hire.
CDL certificate may be required depending on location.
CNA certificate may be required depending on location.
Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Hiring is contingent on successfully passing a DOT Medical Exam and obtaining DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and timely transportation of Immanuel Pathways participants, under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor.
Transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other items deemed necessary.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis.
Communicate any safety issue to the Transportation Supervisor.
Be capable of, and experienced in, transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
