About The Position

As a Driver with Reliable Onsite Services at United Rentals, you complete daily service routes in the order assigned by dispatch. You service, clean, and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers. The role involves maintaining professional customer contact and open communication with the dispatcher, following safety procedures, and operating a Route Service truck safely. You may work independently with little or no supervision. Some weekend work may be required as business conditions dictate. This position is deemed Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Diligent attention to safety.
Obtain a DOT medical card before commencing employment.

Nice To Haves

One year of truck driving experience preferred; a CDL license is not required.
Industry experience is a plus; training is provided on products, services, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Complete daily service routes in sequence as routed by dispatch personnel.
Service, clean, and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
Maintain professional customer contact and open communication with the dispatcher.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures and safely operate a Route Service truck daily.
Vacuum pump, clean, and sanitize portable restroom units at customer sites.
Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap, and refill water holding tanks.
Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
Interact frequently with customers, including recommending additional services and supplies as needed.
