About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Driver to join our team at Mallard Point Senior Living in Cedar Falls, IA. This is a PRN (as needed) position with a starting wage of $15.00 per hour. The Driver will be responsible for meeting resident transportation needs, assisting with maintenance duties and safety needs, and providing first-class customer service to residents in a safe and professional manner.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Possess and maintain the specific state-commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Clean driving record as per the insurance carrier’s policy.
  • First aid certified.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items more than 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Use of a ladder is required.
  • Job functions require both indoor and outdoor work, including in periods of inclement weather.
  • Must be criminally cleared and fidelity bondable.
  • Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in the areas of leadership and supervision, including time management and organization, as well as the ability to represent and promote activities and programs.

  • Experience in senior housing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet resident transportation needs and assist in safe and timely arrival to appointments.
