About The Position

Vital Records Control is a trusted document management company specializing in secure storage, handling, and destruction of sensitive information. We are committed to protecting our clients’ data with reliable and professional service. We are seeking a dependable On-Site Shred Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a non-CDL shred truck to collect, transport, and securely destroy customer materials at various client locations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (no CDL required)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to security procedures
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Has a positive and respectful attitude
• Able to accept change in directions as customer needs change.
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Able to work both in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
• Able to follow all company policies and procedures.
• Self-motivated
• Works well under pressure.
• Good knowledge of city streets or able to read a city map.
• Ability to use handheld device, electric pickers, drive van or box truck.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• MVR Check
• Background check
• Must be able to pass random drug screens.
• Must be able to carry a cell phone to be in constant communication with the Records Center
• Strong commitment to accuracy and quality
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary
• Strong directional awareness and navigational skills

Responsibilities

• Operate a non-CDL shred truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Travel to customer sites to collect and destroy confidential documents
• Ensure secure handling and destruction of sensitive materials
• Provide professional and courteous service to clients
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Maintain accurate service records and logs
