About The Position

Sam Baker Hospitality LLC Sam Baker Hospitality located in the spectacular setting of Sam A Baker State Park is one of the state's most scenic locations. Sam Baker Hospitality offers quaint cabins for lodging guests, retail gift sales, cafe and watercraft rentals. Come join the fun as guests float down the St. Francis River and in Big Creek! This is a seasonal position and the anticipated first day of work is ASAP and the last day is estimated to be in November.

Requirements

• Superior customer service skills, strong communication skills, and a team player
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with many personality types.
• Safety oriented paying attention to all traffic rules and company’s driver agreement policy
• Provide a clean driving record on an MVR background check
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Six (6) months in a hotel / resort setting preferred

Nice To Haves

• Resort / National Park Concession experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Transport guests and between the designated stop areas in a safe and efficient manner
• Provide the highest level of customer service and give assistance if necessary
• Be knowledgeable and helpful to passengers and guests regarding schedules and services
• Strictly follow the company’s lost and found program
• Ensure vehicle is clean, fueled and in safe operating condition, noting any issues to manager promptly
• Perform pre and post shift vehicle inspections using company inspection forms and vehicle logs
• Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
• All other duties as may be assigned
