About The Position
Responsible for safely transporting Residents to/from appointments. Understands and complies with all procedures and regulations as related to Fire Safety, OSHA and Disaster programs. Adheres to proper safety procedures while operating facility vehicles. Communicates in an effective and courteous manner with all residents, facility personnel and visitors. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous experience transporting groups of passengers.
- Must have an active Driver’s license
- CPR Certification
- First Aide Certification
Nice To Haves
- CDL Preferred
Responsibilities
- Reviews daily schedule for accuracy and completeness.
- Assists with boarding and disembarking of residents.
- Maintains vehicle logs.
- Ensures gas supply.
- Notifies Maintenance of any needs for service.
