About The Position

Providence Place of Chambersburg is seeking a Driver who is responsible for the safe transportation of residents to and from physician appointments. This role involves planning drop-off and pick-up times to ensure timely service and maintaining the vehicles in a safe and clean condition. This is a part-time, flexible position, requiring 2-3 days of work per week, dependent on the resident appointment schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• No major traffic violations over the past 5 years.
• Familiarity with general locale and roads in the service area.
• Requires normal range vision, hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must be capable of operating Providence Place vehicles safely.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to push/pull 100lbs.
• Requires sitting, reaching, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and bending.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is desirable.
