Compensation Considerations: Union Driver with Teamsters 249. Must have open availability to work any shift when starting out, will be scheduled as a floater 5 days per week. Work Shift (if applicable): Shift 1 (United States of America) Job Description: Vitalant is seeking Union Drivers dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Union Driver is vital. As a member of our Union courier team, you will support Vitalant’s life-saving mission by utilizing your communication and customer service skills to establish relationships with hospital staff while delivering and transporting blood and blood products. Additionally, you will actively participate in the set up and takedown of mobile blood drives. What to Expect Starting Pay: $21.05 per Hour Schedule: Schedule Varies, Open Availability is Needed. Will Include Weekends and Holidays. 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

Maintain a great rapport with hospitals that we service.
Successfully deliver blood, supplies, equipment, or other blood products.
Play an active part in the setup and takedown of mobile blood drives by loading and unloading blood drive supplies.
Manage the safe handling, cleaning, and tracking of biowaste.
Use exceptional problem-solving skills to manage weather-related driving issues as they arise.
