About The Position

Carolina SeniorCare is seeking a full-time or part-time Driver who lives in the Statesville area. This role is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of EveryAge PACE participants to medical appointments and activities, as well as delivering meals, pharmacy items, and durable medical equipment. The Driver is a vital part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid North Carolina Driver's License
CPR Certification required

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience working with frail elderly individuals preferred
Successful completion of defensive driving course within four (4) months of hire

Responsibilities

Safely transport participants to and from appointments, activities, and the PACE Center.
Assist participants boarding and exiting vehicles when needed.
Follow transportation schedules and communicate route changes with dispatch.
Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain records.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
Deliver meals, medications, medical equipment, and other participant-related items.
Communicate participant needs and concerns to the interdisciplinary team.
Follow OSHA safety guidelines and program policies.
Participate in training, quality improvement initiatives, and team meetings.
