About The Position

Rentex is hiring a full-time Weekend City Driver to deliver and pick up equipment from customers. The schedule is Friday through Monday, operating 16-foot and 26-foot trucks. The position involves loading and unloading equipment, safely operating delivery vehicles, communicating with the dispatcher, ensuring equipment is accurately handled, and providing customer support.

Requirements

• Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid in-state driver’s license authorizing operation of vehicles up to 25,999 pounds.
• Possess or be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record for the past 3–5 years, with no DUIs.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of verifiable experience driving cargo vans, cube trucks, box trucks, and straight trucks up to 26 feet.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and safely operate delivery vehicles.
• Deliver and pick up Rentex equipment from customers.
• Provide exceptional customer support.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher.
• Learn the specifics of regular delivery locations.
• Learn to scan equipment in and out of the rental system.
• Check for missing equipment and report findings.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
