About The Position

Sarasota Bay Club is seeking a full-time Driver for its luxury retirement community located on Sarasota Bay. The position provides safe, efficient transportation for residents in a friendly and professional manner while demonstrating the values of attitude, integrity, and teamwork. The scheduled availability is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Florida Driver’s License and a safe driving record.
At least 1 year of related customer service experience.
For bus drivers: valid commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement and at least 2 years of holding the passenger endorsement.
Ability to provide first aid and CPR as needed.
Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work and to work independently.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and timely transportation for residents, coordinate transportation needs, assist with packages and carts, and confirm residents reach their proper destination before departing.
Assist the valet with parking resident and guest vehicles according to established procedures.
Complete transportation mileage logs and a la carte transportation forms, and maintain key and security controls.
Assist residents and guests with vehicle maintenance needs, such as using a battery charger or contacting AAA.
Keep vehicles clean and properly maintained; check for damage or maintenance issues and report findings to the resident or guest and supervisor.
Know facility emergency procedures, assist with emergency drills, monitor and respond to emergencies and security issues, and use proper radio communication.
Assist with hurricane preparedness.
Support other members of the concierge team as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
