About The Position

Barnes Jewish West County is seeking a part time Driver. This individual will support the lab by driving around campus in a BJC vehicle and picking up specimens from various locations to bring back to the lab. The schedule is part-time with rotating days from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, working either Thursday, Friday or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• <2 years of experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• Class E Driver's License in MO

Responsibilities

• Operates an assigned motor vehicle for the safe and timely transportation of passengers, materials, specimens, mail, and other cargo used in the course of hospital and client business.
• Provides timely transportation, pick-up and delivery services.
• Ensures timely arrival and departure by following program schedule.
• Advises supervisor and team if unable to follow schedule.
