Drivers are company representatives responsible for the safe operation of motorized vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions. Proper operation may be done while transporting vehicles or moving vehicles on lot, dependent upon what they are assigned. They also properly store vehicles as instructed. This role involves following relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation, testing vehicle equipment prior to driving, notifying supervisors of vehicle problems, and performing routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water. Drivers are also responsible for running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles, performing errands like delivering or picking up mail and small packages, and completing accident reports when necessary. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer service-focused, takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and is team-focused.
