About The Position
The Driver transports raw materials, finished products, and other goods between company locations, suppliers, and job sites. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to all traffic and safety regulations, and a commitment to representing the company professionally on and off the road.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Current DOT card
- Valid DOT card
- Be physically active for long periods without getting tired or out of breath.
- Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.
- Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position.
- See objects in very bright or glaring light.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and inspecting steel shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Monitor company vehicle maintenance
- Ensure timely delivery of materials
- Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned
