About The Position

8Fleet is seeking Full-Time Drivers to join their team in San Francisco. As a W-2 employee driver, you will drive a company-provided vehicle, complete customer trips, and earn a guaranteed hourly wage, plus tips and eligibility for employee benefits. 8Fleet is a leader in providing high-quality professional drivers, well-maintained vehicles, and consistent availability. They cover fuel, maintenance, and insurance, allowing drivers to operate without out-of-pocket vehicle expenses. The role offers the stability of hourly pay, with average drivers earning over $22/hr through base pay, bonuses, and tips. Safety is a priority, with features like built-in dash cams and round-the-clock support.

Requirements

Must be eligible to drive on the Uber app (not banned from the Uber platform).
Must be 25 years of age or older.
Valid California Driver's License.
Must pass a background check and drug screen (including marijuana), consistent with applicable law and the safety requirements of this driving position.
Must have a clean driving record.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with passengers as required by job duties.

Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Service: ensure a welcoming experience by greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, and providing a comfortable riding experience.
Safe & Reliable Transportation: safely pick up passengers and transport them to their destination while obeying traffic laws and practicing safe driving habits.
Maintain Vehicle Standards: keep your vehicle clean, safe, and comfortable, ensuring an optimal ride experience for all passengers.
Efficient Navigation and Coordination: determine the best traveling routes using technology (GPS, routing apps) and knowledge of the city in order to maximize efficiency and minimize waiting times.
