About The Position

CarShop is seeking a responsible, self-motivated, hardworking driver to join our dynamic team. This individual will safely drive our automobiles to various locations, move vehicles on CarShop lots and perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Accident free in the last 3 years
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • No history of traffic violations in last 3 years
  • Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Able to safely drive vehicles
  • Good communication skills
  • Good customer services skills
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedure
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to interact well with others
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Able to work will with a diverse group of people
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to meet insurance requirements for driving positions

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive vehicles to and from destinations as assigned.
  • Able to manage time and follow routes for a streamlined delivery experience.
  • Operate all vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with state and local laws.
  • Flexible with scheduling to accommodate last minute requests.
  • Comfortable driving long distances on the highway or in poor weather conditions.
  • Able to drive and park in the city.
  • Comfortable driving various makes and models of vehicles, including manual transmissions.
  • Must be customer service oriented, caring, and have a high level of integrity and a passion for success.
  • The individual needs to carry out department work in alignment with the company culture and values and emphasize teamwork within and between departments.
