About The Position

The Driver safely transports construction equipment and materials to and from job sites. The role includes performing pre-trip inspections, maneuvering vehicles safely, and loading and unloading across diverse terrains. Drivers conduct routine vehicle maintenance and must understand air brake systems. The position involves travel to job sites, potential outdoor work, and completing assigned tasks during downtime. Routine lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds is required. Successful candidates prioritize safety, handle stress effectively, and collaborate well with the team.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One year of related experience and/or training.
• Current, valid Tennessee Class A commercial driver's license.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform basic maintenance on single- and multi-rear-axle trucks that meet Tennessee Commercial Driver Licensing requirements.
• General knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and vehicle operation.
• Good communication skills.
• Neat appearance.
• Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to prioritize safety, handle stress effectively, and collaborate with the team.
