About The Position
TEMPORARY driving position now available at Wiley Mission! Daytime hours, no evenings! Wiley Christian Retirement Community has earned the reputation for quality of care, courtesy and professionalism. Our continuing success depends on its employees. We have a current position open for a temporary driver to work Monday thru Friday, up to 40 hours per week. In this role, you will be transporting our residents to and from appointments as directed by our nursing department.
Requirements
- High School education
- Valid driver’s license
- A safe driving record, with no points
- Able to read, speak and write English fluently
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrates patience and respect when interacting with residents and staff
Nice To Haves
- May require lifting and does require pushing of wheelchairs
Responsibilities
- Drives residents to doctor appointments in a Wiley Mission van or car
- As needed, assists residents in and out of vehicle via wheelchair lift
- Assist resident in and out of offices, as needed
