About The Position

Brenntag is seeking a qualified Driver to join their team. This role involves performing pre/post trip inspections, adhering to traffic laws and DOT regulations, loading and unloading various materials, completing shipping paperwork, and delivering products to unmanned locations. The driver will also be responsible for wearing appropriate PPE, chaining trucks when necessary, operating a forklift, and prioritizing safety in all tasks. The position requires flexible hours, including weekends.

Requirements

• Truck driving experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Good driving record.
• Be able to pass drug screening and physical and human performance test.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Better than average written and spoken communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• GED or High School Diploma, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections on truck.
• Obey traffic laws and hours of service rules per DOT.
• Load/unload totes, drums, equipment, and tanks on truck.
• Complete shipping paperwork.
• Deliver product to unmanned locations.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Lift and chain truck, when needed.
• Operate forklift.
• Work and think safety first.
• Work flexible hours (i.e. weekends).
• Related duties as assigned.
