About The Position

Drivers are the face of Benefast at every delivery. This role is responsible for pulling orders accurately, delivering product safely and professionally, maintaining documentation discipline, and communicating proactively. When not on deliveries, Drivers support warehouse operations. Accuracy, safety, and professionalism are non-negotiable. Every delivery is a customer interaction — the driver represents the company on every stop. Reliability, attention to detail, and initiative during downtime are critical.

• DOT certification (medical card, logs, inspections)
• Log fuel and expenses accurately in Ramp
• Complete all delivery documentation same-day
• Communicate proactively with dispatch
• Report customer feedback or issues
• Maintain clean, organized records of all deliveries
• Support warehouse operations during downtime
• Assist with order pulling, receiving, and organization
• Help build work orders as needed
• Contribute to warehouse cleanliness and safety
• Stay productive — find work when there are no deliveries
• Complete daily vehicle inspection
• Pull and verify assigned orders
• Load vehicle safely
• Execute assigned delivery route
• Obtain signed packing slips at every stop
• Return signed packing slips to dispatch
• Log fuel and expenses in Ramp
• Post delivery confirmations in Teams
• Support warehouse operations during downtime
• Review vehicle maintenance needs with W&D Manager
• Ensure DOT compliance documentation is current
• Support cycle counts when assigned
• Review safety protocols
• Maintain DOT certification (medical card, licensing)
• Participate in performance review process
• Support safety and compliance training
• Contribute to delivery process improvements
• Route and delivery execution decisions within the dispatch plan
• Safety decisions — authority to refuse unsafe loads or driving conditions
• Escalation to W&D Manager for customer issues, vehicle concerns, or route problems
• Dispatch and routing decisions remain with W&D Manager
• Accurate deliveries on every run
• Safe driving record

• Clean documentation and signed packing slips returned same-day

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned deliveries on schedule
• Call delivery contact 10 minutes prior to arrival
• Obtain signed packing slips for every delivery
• Return signed packing slips to dispatch immediately
• Post delivery confirmation in Teams
• Communicate delays or exceptions in real time
• Represent Benefast professionally at every stop
• Pull orders accurately from the warehouse
• Verify order contents before departure
• Load vehicles safely and efficiently
• Report discrepancies before leaving the warehouse
• Maintain clean, organized staging of outgoing orders
• Perform daily vehicle inspections
• Drive safely at all times
• Maintain clean and organized company vehicles
• Report maintenance issues immediately
• Follow all DOT requirements
• Maintain DOT certification (medical card, logs, inspections)
