About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused driver for a dedicated regional route operating out of Birmingham, AL. This position offers consistent routes, steady hours, and predictable weekly schedules. The route is dedicated Sunday–Wednesday, involving regional deliveries with 3-4 overnight stays per week. The driver will operate a sleeper cab Class A tractor-trailer equipped with a liftgate.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable CDL driving experience
• Experience operating sleeper cab tractor-trailers
• Experience with liftgate deliveries and freight handling
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety practices
• Ability to complete required inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Comfortable with regional routes and overnight stays (2-3 nights per week)
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to meet physical demands of delivery work

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company equipment in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections using ELD/inspection systems
• Load, unload, and properly secure freight using liftgate and pallet jack
• Complete deliveries on time while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Communicate with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient operations
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Pick up returns, damaged goods, and pallets
