Driver - Vallejo - Part Time
About The Position
The Driver delivers vehicles and, in some instances, customers, employees, or vendors safely and on time to appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service. The role transports fleet cars and vans between rental locations and may involve navigating written directions. The position is based at 3271 Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo, CA 94590, and requires a valid California driver’s license. Starting pay is $17 per hour. The schedule is either Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Enterprise Mobility offers paid time off, an employee discount, a retirement savings plan including a 401(k), and training and development.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must have a valid California driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Transport fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations.
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
- Deliver customers and vehicles safely and courteously to the appropriate destinations.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
- Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone when needed.
- Clean vehicles when asked.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
