About The Position

This position plays a crucial role in safely transporting construction equipment and materials to and from job sites. Responsibilities include thorough pre-trip inspections, safe vehicle maneuvering, loading/unloading over diverse terrains, routine vehicle maintenance, and understanding air brake systems. The role involves travel to job sites, potential outdoor work, and completing assigned tasks during downtime. Routine lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs is required. The successful candidate must prioritize safety, handle stress effectively, and collaborate well with the team.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year related experience and/or training.
• CDL class-A Tennessee driver’s license.
• Current valid TN commercial driver’s license.
• Knowledge and conduct basic maintenance of single and multi-rear axle trucks meeting the requirements for Tennessee Commercial Driver’s Licensing (including a general knowledge of laws, regulations and operation of the stated vehicle).
• Neat appearance.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize safety.
• Ability to handle stress effectively.
• Ability to collaborate well with the team.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire.
