About The Position
Our skilled nursing community, Careview Transitional Care of Weston, is seeking a reliable and compassionate DRIVER (FULL TIME) to safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled destinations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with seniors and understands that every interaction is an opportunity to put people first.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a CLEAN driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors or in healthcare preferred
- STNA certification preferred but not required
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers when needed
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, scheduled outings, etc.
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely
- Ensure residents are secure and comfortable during transport
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the facility vehicle
- Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident schedules and needs
- Follow all safety regulations and transportation procedures
