About The Position

This Driver will report directly to the onsite dispatcher/terminal manager. This position will require a qualified individual to operate various types of trucks and trailers, including a tankwagon truck, 26ft box truck with lift gate, curtain van, tractor with 3000 - 7000g liquid bulk tanker, and a tractor with a 53ft van trailer. The van trailer is used for both hazmat and non-hazmat deliveries, and the box truck with lift gate is also used for hazmat and non-hazmat deliveries. PPE (Steel toe, hard hat, safety glasses) must be worn at all times when handling hazmat materials. This is not solely a driving position as there will be warehouse duties as well, including forklift operation, pallet jack operations, inventory management, truck loading and unloading, and other additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Class B (preferably Class A) license with hazmat and tanker endorsements
Updated medical card
Clean driving record
Skilled at maneuvering and operating delivery vehicles
2 years of driving experience minimum, preferably 5 years
Ability to hit the ground running and be a great self-starter
Great customer service skills
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 to 75 pounds
HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

Manual transmission experience is preferred

Responsibilities
