Transports students to various cities by bus for recreational and educational purposes, transports students/staff to various medical Centers, and transports students for other various reasons. The role requires availability for any shift and day of the week due to a 24/7 operation. The driver will also transport equipment and/or commodities by vehicle, staff to and from commercial carriers, and students to various community relations work projects. The position involves operating Center buses, cleaning vehicles, reporting mechanical conditions, and transporting vehicles to maintenance centers. Ensuring acceptable student behavior, working towards performance standard goals, and adhering to the CDSS plan and Code of Conduct are key aspects of the role. The driver must comply with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Serrato policies and procedures, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures. Maintaining good housekeeping and complying with safety practices are also required. The role involves demonstrating and abiding by Serrato Corporation's core values and operating principles, modeling, mentoring, and monitoring appropriate Career Success Standards, and helping students become more employable. Participation in PRH-mandated staff training is mandatory.
