About The Position

We are seeking responsible, purpose-driven drivers who believe that all children have the right to safe and reliable access to their education. This is a part-time role, averaging 20 hours per week during the school year. Drivers will earn above-average wages paid per route, with potential additional amounts based on route duration and distance. The company provides comprehensive paid training and a friendly, supportive office staff. An optional 401(k) plan is available to drivers. There are opportunities for career advancement and unlimited referral bonuses. Drivers do not need additional car insurance. Summers are generally off, though summer school route offerings may be available. Drivers collaborate with like-minded adults who share a common mission and values. BuckledIn invests in its drivers by providing a safety technology system in every vehicle, including a forward-facing camera and telematics device to support drivers in case of an accident, offer coaching, and reinforce safe driving behaviors. This equipment is mandatory for all drivers transporting students. Pay per route can vary based on factors such as routes accepted, number of children, distance, and availability.

Requirements

At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Current and valid car insurance and accompanying vehicle registration
At least 3 years of legal driving experience
Own a four-door vehicle in good condition and a smartphone
Able to pass a comprehensive onboarding process, including BCI and FBI fingerprinting, drug screening, and a 19-point vehicle inspection
Required to read, write and speak English at a proficient level

Responsibilities

Drive K-12 students safely and reliably to and from school
Create a positive, kind, and welcoming environment for children
Communicate consistently with parents, caregivers, and school staff
Be available from MONDAY - FRIDAY, 6:00-9:00 am and 1-4:30 pm on weekdays
