About The Position

Maryland Treatment Centers Inc. is a growing regional behavioral health provider focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and scholarship. We are a thriving center for treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders. We offer a full continuum of care, including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services. We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Driver to join our team at our Rockville, Maryland location. This is a full-time position providing transportation for patients while maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will be professional, patient, and comfortable working with individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with fewer than 2 points
High school diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of experience working with children with disabilities, substance use patients, or mental health patients
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and patience when working with patients
Ability to work effectively as part of a treatment team

Nice To Haves

Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

Transport patients to various appointments as dictated by the program schedule or individual patient needs
Maintain positive interactions with patients while monitoring and appropriately directing patient behavior
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment during transportation
Communicate any pertinent patient information to admissions team/counselors
