Requirements

  • High School diploma Required
  • 0-2 years of warehouse experience depending on role
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • Good customer service skills
  • Energetic
  • Attention to detail
  • Technology proficient - able to use Microsoft products and delivery scanners and tablets.
  • Pass a D.O.T. physical
  • Able to pass a drug screen (If CDL)
  • Physically able to squat, bend and lift over 25-50 lbs. frequently
  • Ability to move large pieces of equipment using a dolly which requires pushing and pulling up to 150 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand for long periods, use stairs frequently, walk on uneven surfaces
  • Manual dexterity is required

Responsibilities

  • Run a delivery route for delivering customer orders, which may include pulling equipment and parts, loading and unloading orders onto the truck, building the route manifest, contacting customers, confirming order details, and providing proof of delivery.
  • Take care of the assigned vehicle, keeping it clean, loading items safely and securely, and reporting any incidents of vehicle or product damage to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow the rules of the road and report any safety or driving infractions immediately.
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to company policy.
  • Work with the Delivery Services Coordinator and/or Fleet Manager to ensure routine maintenance is completed when needed and proper documentation is delivered to the Fleet Manager.
  • Receive shipments, confirm quantities, and inspect shipments for damage.
  • Complete or assist with receiving paperwork and transfer paperwork as required.
  • Put away product and follow standard warehouse procedures like First-In-First-out Inventory practices.
  • Perform occasional cycle counts and assist other departments with inventory questions.
  • Support warehouse activities when needed, as the role may involve days focused on driving and other times focused on warehouse tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
