About The Position

The Driver/Warehouse Support role will be accountable for carrying out daily delivery responsibilities in a secure, effective, and professional manner. The job includes warehouse support responsibilities. The candidate will be able to work independently, strong verbal and oral communication, and prioritizes providing excellent customer service. Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of delivery driving experience, including loading, and unloading
Valid G Class license with clean driving record/abstract
Attention to details, excellent time-management, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and relationship building skills
Ability to safely lift up to of 50lbs
Previous experience using Electronic Signature Capture devices is an asset

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC products
Forklift certifications
Knowledge of local routes

Responsibilities

Daily deliveries to customer job sites and shops, pick up customer returns and purchase orders at vendors
Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle, driving safely and securing vehicle load at all times
Responsible for carrying proper documentation in vehicle at all times, i.e. license, Insurance, CVOR
Unload truck upon return to the profit centre with any incoming freight
Order picking, shipping, and receiving, as well as forklift operation when necessary, during periods of slow delivery
Other related duties as assigned by the Profit Centre Manager
