About The Position

Lampton Love Generator, a family-owned business with over 70 years of experience and part of the Ergon family of companies, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver / Warehouse & Generator Maintenance Technician. This role supports transportation, warehouse operations, and generator maintenance. A Class A CDL with a clean driving record is required, and hands-on training will be provided for generator maintenance, so no prior experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Clean driving record (must meet company and insurance requirements)
• High school diploma
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• A clean MVR is required

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse or logistics experience
• Mechanical or maintenance background
• Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations
• Load, unload, organize, and inventory equipment and materials
• Assist with receiving and shipping of products
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Support general warehouse duties as needed
• Assist with routine generator maintenance, inspections, and servicing
• Support technicians with setup, breakdown, and basic troubleshooting
• Learn proper operation, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance practices
