About The Position

The Driver, Transportation provides safe transportation for members to accommodate individual and group needs. The role coordinates daily schedules with the Transportation Supervisor, assists members with boarding and reaching their destinations as needed, and protects confidential medical and healthcare information. The driver also inspects and monitors transportation vehicles, reports member-related transportation problems, provides backup coverage at the front Receptionist/Concierge desk, and delivers community information to members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Maintain an exemplary driving record.
• Ability to work weekends occasionally.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year of experience in a similar transportation position is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for members according to individual and group needs.
• Coordinate daily transportation schedules with the Transportation Supervisor.
• Help members to and from buses, vans, or cars and into destination locations when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all medical or healthcare information pertaining to members.
• Report transportation problems involving members to the Transportation Supervisor or Director of Member Services.
• Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors, including vacuuming, washing, and fueling.
• Monitor basic maintenance requirements of transportation vehicles.
• Provide backup coverage for the front Receptionist/Concierge desk as needed.
• Deliver community information to members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
