About The Position
Transport Drivers are responsible for driving a tractor trailer to deliver products between Coca-Cola facilities. Drivers are typically local and are back at home at the end of each day.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of work experience required.
- Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record within MVR guidelines. CDL license needs to cover both automatic and manual vehicles. Illinois residents are required to have a CDL issued from the state of Illinois.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic trucks required.
- Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transports finished goods from a Coca-Cola Production or Distribution Center to an outlying Coca-Cola Distribution Center.
- Load and unload finished goods using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Connect or disconnect the trailer at the facility destination.
- Verify load and seal numbers.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures including DOT regulations.
- Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment to company standards.
