About The Position
The Driver/System Operator (DSO) performs aviation fuel servicing operations, including refueling and defueling, using mobile fuel servicing equipment and trucks. The DSO must understand safety regulations for aviation and ground fuel servicing on and around the airfield and supported activities, and demonstrate practical knowledge of inspecting and maintaining fuel servicing equipment and systems. The role also requires basic data entry into the BSM-E system or maintenance of dispatch logs. Drivers must hold and maintain licenses and endorsements required by Arizona law and remain compliant with those requirements throughout employment under the contract.
Requirements
- Hold a current Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with HAZMAT and tank truck endorsements appropriate for Arizona.
- Provide a DMV record showing five years of driving experience.
- Hold a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certification card.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Government Background Investigation.
- Possess a favorable National Agency Check with Credit Check and Inquiries (NACLC) to remain on contract.
- Be licensed under applicable Arizona vehicle operating laws, regulations, and codes, and remain compliant throughout employment.
