About The Position

Premium Powder Coating is seeking dependable individuals for a Driver / Shipping & Receiving position. This role combines local driving responsibilities with hands-on shipping and receiving tasks. The starting pay is $23.00-25.00/hour, depending on experience, with pay reviews after 90 days and future increases based on performance and merit.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience driving larger box trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles.
• Forklift experience and the ability to operate safely.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety.
• Ability to take initiative and look for ways to improve processes.
• Must meet applicable medical, driving, drug-testing, and safety requirements for operating company vehicles.
• Dependability, regular attendance, and punctuality are essential.
• Comfortable following written and verbal instructions while working independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable handling large, heavy, and sometimes awkwardly shaped metal parts.
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day and regularly bending, reaching, climbing, loading, and unloading.
• Willingness to take responsibility for safely transporting and handling customer parts.

Nice To Haves

• Shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred.
• CDL is not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26' box truck or 26' flatbed for customer deliveries, pickups, and vendor transportation.
• Organize incoming work and stage finished orders for pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks and assist other drivers with preparing and securing loads.
• Verify parts, quantities, and job information as material moves in and out of the facility.
• Operate a forklift and learn to safely use overhead cranes as needed.
• Help keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and efficient.
• Take ownership of the shipping and receiving area and suggest improvements for workflow and organization.
