Our Company Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Overview Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS or DRP) – PRN Rehab Without Walls® Neurorehabilitation | San Francisco, CA Restore Independence Through Specialized Driving Rehabilitation Rehab Without Walls® is seeking a highly qualified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist to join our Home & Community–based Neurorehabilitation Program in San Francisco, CA. This PRN opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinician who is passionate about helping individuals safely and confidently return to driving as a critical step toward independence and community reintegration. This role is certification-driven and expertise-focused , requiring both Driver Rehabilitation Specialist credentials and Occupational Therapy licensure . Who We’re Looking For: A Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS or DRP) with demonstrated experience in: Comprehensive clinical driving evaluations Behind-the-wheel assessments Adaptive driving training and recommendations Occupational Therapist licensure required , providing the clinical foundation necessary for functional assessment, cognitive-perceptual evaluation, and adaptive strategy development. A clinician who values professional autonomy , flexibility, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Experience working with neurologic, orthopedic, or medically complex populations preferred. What You’ll Do: Conduct thorough clinical and on-road driving evaluations. Develop individualized driving rehabilitation plans tailored to each client’s functional abilities and goals. Provide adaptive driving training to support safe return to driving. Collaborate with referring clinicians (OT, PT, SLP, neuropsychology) to support broader recovery and community reintegration goals. Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing
• Current CPR Certification
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with neurologic, orthopedic, or medically complex populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
