About The Position

The Driver Recruiter will actively promote the Titanium American Trucking, Inc. brand and seek out opportunities to connect with industry driving professionals at all levels. Titanium is one of the fastest growing companies within the transportation industry. We want experienced, safe, and qualified drivers to join our family. Successful candidates will positively represent the Titanium brand and develop new networking models that speak to drivers. The Driver Recruiter will take ownership of prospective drivers, managing all stages of the engagement process. The Driver Recruiter will take pride in their efforts, going to the extents necessary to drive their individual performance and deliver desired results.

Requirements

  • Proven hunting skills and recruitment abilities or other relevant experience would be considered an asset
  • 3+ years proven experience working in a recruitment role - special consideration for candidates that have worked in driver recruitment
  • Must be a self-started with a desire to meet and exceed department onboarding targets
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment, selection and hiring of professional CDL Class A truck drivers and Owner-Operators
  • Ensure that the company is provided with quality and quantity of Company Drivers and Owner-Operators including:
  • Pre-screen all walk-in and phone inquiries by driver applicants
  • Interview potential company drivers and/ or owner/ operators
  • Review applications and ensure all required screening information is correctly obtained and verified
  • Communicate with internal team members to coordinate hiring requirements for Trucking Operations group
  • Arrange applicants for required verification assessments, including road testing
  • Operate as one of the lead points of contact for any and all matters specific to drivers
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Liaise with the Senior Manager, Driver Development to deliver department goals and objectives
  • Identify and launch new and innovative opportunities for driver engagement
  • Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with drivers and team members
  • Assist with regular inquiries and information requests
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure needs are understood and make hiring recommendations accordingly
  • Emphasize diversity and inclusivity
  • Ability to manage responsibilities with the use of standard office computer equipment and Microsoft Office suite of programs with Windows-based operating systems
  • Adhere to all Titanium American Trucking, Inc. service standards and policies, including Health & Safety
  • Perform all additional and relative duties as assigned
