About The Position
This role supports the receiving operation by driving modernized trucks and other vehicles. The position involves performing duties necessary for the receiving, checking, and distributing of all items delivered to receiving platforms.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Current driver's license
- Commercial Driver's license
- Valid Medical Certification card
- At least 1-2 years of commercial truck driving experience in the past 4 years
- Previous 1 year Shipping and Receiving experience
- Previously worked with vehicles that use a lift gate required
Responsibilities
- Receive/counts/signs for Jefferson merchandise/supplies.
- Process receiving documents/maintains file of receiving logs and create end of day reports.
- Delivers merchandise/supplies/equipment and instruments to end user.
- Drive Jefferson trucks/make deliveries to end users.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
