Fifth Gear Automotive is a nationally ranked, family-owned independent dealer alternative auto repair company with 10 locations across the DFW area. We specialize in servicing all makes and models and are proud to deliver exceptional customer service in a modern, state-of-the-art environment. Our continued growth has created an opportunity for a dependable and motivated Driver/Porter to join our team. As a Driver/Porter, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our shop. This position involves safely transporting customer vehicles, maintaining organization within the facility, and assisting the team in delivering a smooth and professional service experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team-driven environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Clean driving record for the past 2 years (required)
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Safely transport customer vehicles to and from designated locations
- Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery while maintaining excellent customer service
- Keep shop, parking areas, and vehicle storage areas clean and organized
- Support service advisors and technicians with daily operational tasks
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and note any visible issues
- Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and professionalism
